I had a photoshoot this morning, I haven’t woken up this early in awhile but it was worth it, the Houston skyline is prettiest in the morning. Really nice couple too, I always feel like I'm old friends with my clients by the time their weddings come and go.

I did a portrait of my cat yesterday evening. My brother called me a cat lady because I dote on my cat Jean-Luc. That doesn't really seem fair, I mean just because I like my cat doesn't mean I'm going to start taking him to the park in a stroller. Anyways, I'm really into this whole idea of doing portraits of people's pets. Any takers?

This bride wore her mother's wedding dress, she did some alterations to make it more current, she hemed it and added a shurg. I wanted the photograph to look a little antique.

Spent the weekend in Austin with my bro, it was so much fun. We swam in the lake,went to the Alamo ice house, and played bar trivia.

It's been such a long time since I posted. I've been doing a lot of the same stuff; weddings, jewelry and schools. That's my week in week out. Recently I picked up a new client, an architect, and I'm going around shooting his designs. they are mostly commercial properties and residential. At first I wasn't super stimulated by the project but after doing the first property and looking at the pictures I can see that the building is actually really beautiful. I love the mosaics of stone and the tiny little square windows. It's such a clean design. So I can't wait to do the next one.
