Last Saturday I was lucky enough to be a second photographer for an Indian wedding. For any photographers that want to do Indian weddings I really recommend being a second photographer the first time. A lot happens, it's totally chaotic at certain points and it would be really overwhelming to be in charge of it having never done it before. Also there is no way I would do it alone, this is a two photographer job a least. Suffice it to say, it was awesome. I had a really great time, the people were super nice and I was able to just be a floater, a fly on the wall. Here are some of the photos from the day. :)

So I had my photoshoot at Hermann Park yesterday. It really is Houston's version of Central Park in New York, only newer and without musicians, musicians really need to get thier butts over to Hermann Park on the weekends, the place is packed with people and it could use a little more urban starving artists. Anyways, I wanted to share an image from the engagement portraits I did for Son and Bridget, it was a fun day.

Today I took my new ride, a white Dawes rode bicycle to Hermann park to scout for a photoshoot. Okay to be honest, I drove but there was no parking for miles, the place was packed and so I went home and got the bike which was an awesome decision. Hermann park is this little mecca right in the museum district of Houston, I live two miles from it and I honestly don't know why I never took my bike there before, it was a lovely excursion, the park is huge but on a bike you can circumnavigate it in minutes, I recommend doing this, I'll be doing this again.
