I don't often blog about other blogs or things I find and want to share but I came across a blog on Etsy and I loved it so much I thought "I'm ganna pass this along" The wedding theme was "Lets party like it's 1929" which as we all know was the year the market crashed and sent our country into the great depression, not a cute period but hey the hobo themed wedding is adorable. I love the quilt backdrops especially.

So this week I did an engagement photoshoot that I really enjoyed. It was in my neighborhood so I rode my bike. I pulled up on my bike and they pulled up in their BMW and asked me if i needed a ride. I think in the end they were both endeared by my quirkiness (I do own a car, a rather nice one). The photoshoot was fast and fierce and i love the photos. The photos below were taken at the Beck Building. Sweet couple Cassy and James.

Well, I guess I didn't stick to that New Years resolution too well of maintaining my blog better,shrug... Se La Vie. One thing I have been doing is portraits, which I love, it's my favorite thing to do as a photographer. I like the controlled environment and the methodicalness of it. I think my favorite portraits I have done recently were the bridal portraits for Brennan Worthington, her wedding is tomorrow at the Houstonian, it's going to be a long day of wedding photogaphy but it's going to be beautiful.

Lebanon has been in the news a lot lately, the country recently had thirteen of their ministers resign and from what i understand they have a new prime minister. I was in Lebanon for most of the month of January and I missed most of the controversy. It's an extraordinarily beautiful country, you have beautiful beaches, an hour down the road majestic snow capped mountains and the mountains are within a few hours of the glamorous international city of Beirut. The people of Lebanon are warm and in spite of all the troubles they maintain their humor. I hope my friends their are safe and I wish for the country to find peace. Thank you Lebanon, i have never seen such beauty.
